My name is Shivesh (Shivu) Patel, and I am fourteen years old. My love of basketball started when I was five years old. I am fortunate to have the opportunity to play basketball and participate in specialized training, but I realized this may not be available to everyone. Basketball did not come easy to me at first, but through these different opportunities, my skills improved, and I want this to be a possibility for all children. Basketball has changed my life, and I hope to spread that passion through creating Bball 4 All.

Bball 4 All is dedicated to making basketball accessible for all children. We work to connect with Recreation and Parks throughout the Bay Area to provide support so outdoor basketball courts can be usable by having proper nets, adjustable hoops, and proper court markings. In addition, our goal is to provide quality basketball coaching accessible to everyone at parks throughout the Bay Area and hopefully beyond. Our end goal is to create scholarships for children who may not have the financial means to get specialized training or join an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) team but have the dedication and desire to play within a competitive league. We are passionate about creating a supportive and welcoming environment for all children.

Bball 4 All is an organization dedicated to making basketball accessible throughout parks to children of all ages, socioeconomic backgrounds, and races. We also strive to create opportunities for children with special needs to engage in the sport. We are currently trying to obtain our nonprofit status.
